Yin Yoga class at Wanderlust Hollywood. This is the most sublime weekend wind-down, imaginable.
The class begins with 40 minutes of Yin postures – long slow stretches that release deep settled muscle tension.
This prepares your body for 20 minutes of Pranayama – guided breathing that focuses the mind and helps to let go of distraction and anxiety.
This prepares you to tone your mind in 15 minutes of meditation – this is not as hard as you think, the mind will be calm enough by this point to begin quieting down dramatically!
The class ends with an ancient and potent guided meditation called Yoga Nidra – it is a full-body reboot derived from one of the most ancient practices of meditation.
This class format acomodates every level of health, fitness and condition. Pregnancy, injury, inflexible, anxious..you are all welcome in this style of yoga! It is the perfect class for clarifying intention, discovering purpose, and eliminating old habits that bring up anxiety and doubt.
